Usually Google Maps mash-ups don't come to much, without enough promotion and people contributing photos, many fall by the wayside, but seeing as this one's a tie-in between Google Maps and Red Bull, so I guess it might be here to stay, at least for a while. After a few weeks of running the platform has had 1000s of walls tagged in various countries, including big names like the muralist Keith Haring and street artists Os Gêmeos, Blu, Space Invader, Shepard Fairey and Banksy. So why not try out your own virtual graffiti hunt at www,StreetArtView.com? On a less optimistic note, I'm a little concerned that graffiti removal companies might have a field day with this handy little tool :/
