Mosaic Portraits made from Licorice

Posted: 27 Apr 2011 01:55 AM PDT

Jason Mecier creates stunning portraits made of licorice, What’s more amazing is that he hasn’t been to art school, he is a self-taught artist. His art inspiration is from his grandmother who he admired greatly as a kid. He recalls that she was the one who encouraged him to create art using materials readily available to him. He is now known as one of the world's most gifted junk artists.
