| My Wife Met the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Posted: 04 Apr 2011 08:39 PM PDT 
Admiral Mike Mullen made a stop today at the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He happens to be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the highest ranking member of the US Military. My wife was able to attend the talk he gave and later, she was lucky enough to be able to meet him and shake his hand. He also gave her an awesome "keepsake" of their meeting: an inscribed coin that had "Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff" on one side and his name and rank on the other. This photo was taken from her phone. The lady in the red jacket and white shirt is the Admiral's wife.
Later in the day, he gave a few more talks throughout the city.
